Maintenance Management Systems
The primary purpose of an effective maintenance management system is one that will allow capital assets to operate "at will," and at its designed specifications. Maintenance, often considered a liability, can be an organizational asset. Traditional maintenance functions are viewed as an autonomous, stand-alone unit isolated from the rest of the organization with a primary objective of "fix it when it breaks." HRD's philosophy is proactive, internal customer-driven and supported through process thinking and visionary leadership. When all variables are equal, the organization will realize cost advantages as a result of savings achieved through proactive maintenance practices.
